OURI is pleased to provide the following funding opportunities both internal and external to FAU. All opportunities are contingent upon students and faculty mentors adhering to the University's research integrity and other research policies. FAU Undergraduate Research Grants
Deadline Dates: October 15th for Spring/Summer funding, and March 15th for Summer/Fall funding. If these dates fall on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be the following business day.

The John Nambu Memorial Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program: Deadline for applications is March 1st.
FAU Wave – An Undergraduate Research and Entrepreneurship Competition: FAU Wave funds students’ innovative ideas targeting societal problems. Ideas could include start-ups, technology, processes, designs, instruments, policies, or community based research. Projects are judged and given monetary awards at the end of the spring semester.

Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience Undergraduate Opportunities The Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience (MPFI) offers undergraduate students the opportunity to gain intensive lab research experience learning from some of the world’s best neuroscientists in a state-of -the-art research facility.
National Undergraduate Internship and Fellowship Opportunities

The Committee on Institutional Cooperation Summer Research Opportunity (CIC SROP) application allows you to apply to a variety of widely-recognized summer research programs at participating CIC institutions using a single application. One of the benefits of using the CIC SROP application is that you only need to send one transcript to a central location and your faculty recommenders will only be required to submit one online letter of recommendation. Upon completion, your application will be viewable by faculty from nine top research universities.
